A Big Success

We have been both delighted (and somewhat surprised!) by the huge level of interest in macrame workshops. While the original plan was to roll these out later in the year, in response to demand, we fast tracked our plans and already four workshops for adults have been held.

These are the words that come to mind when I reflect on my time spent with others as I guided them through the basic stitches and techniques of this fibrecraft.

Now that everyone is square knot crazy, the next step is ‘Club Macrame’ This will be a weekly timeslot for those who have learnt the basics, to come together work on individual creative pieces at their own pace, over a number of weeks.
