Renowned children’s author Nathan Luff is on his way to Broken Hill

Many of you have probably read the ‘Nerd Herd’ series and ‘Holiday Disasters’ books, teaming with great action and fabulous humour. Now’s your chance to meet the renowned writer behind the popular titles. We are incredibly excited to announce that Nathan Luff is coming to Broken Hill from March 25th - 27th!!

Did you know that this multi-talented children’s author is also an award-nominated playwright? And, when he’s not writing he is the Children’s and Young Adult Manager at the Sydney’s Writer’s Festival. Nathan even manages to find the time to teach creative writing and performing arts in primary schools.

For three days, Nathan will make his way to all the primary schools in Broken Hill to inspire students with writing workshops and author presentations at no cost to the schools or students. How fantastic is that?!

Nathan will also be paying us a visit here at Big Sky Stories to lead a creative writing workshop on Tuesday, March 25th, from 3.45pm - 4.45pm. You can register here hello@bigskystories.org.au, but be quick so you don't miss out! This is for children aged 9-13.

Big Sky Stories would like to give a big shoutout to Zeta and the team at First National Real Estate Broken Hill for sponsoring Nathan's visit ensuring children in remote areas don't miss out on literacy-rich experiences like this! Thank you, First National Real Estate Broken Hill!

And, for more exciting news… children participating at school will also have a chance to win a copy of Nathan's new book 'Jungle Escape', released just last month, grab a copy here at One More Page Book Emporium.

It's set to be a brilliant three days, and we cannot wait to show Nathan just how wonderful Broken Hill and the Far West really are!

Only just three weeks away, be sure to book in now for Nathan’s creative writing workshop here at Big Sky Stories.
